Goondoi Rangers Programs and on country days offer students and visitors the chance to connect deeply with the land and learn traditional skills, cultural practices, and environmental stewardship. Guided by the Goondoi Rangers, these experiences nurture a sense of respect for the environment and for country and for its long and sacred history.
Supported by the National Indigenous Australians Agency, the Goondoi Junior Ranger Program offers a platform for children and youths to engage in cultural and environmental education as well as community leadership.
Students become immersed in Indigenous traditions, history, and storytelling, often guided by Elders and knowledge keepers who impart invaluable traditional knowledge and instil a sense of responsibility and pride in the next generation.
